Third trimester, here I come!

Today I enter into the third trimester (27 weeks along)! I have been feeling great, but I am starting to notice that it is more difficult getting up from the couch or tying my shoes. Everyday it seems my "bump" gets a little bigger. I went to the doctor's last week and everything looks good. The baby was very active during the appointment so it took a few minutes to hear the steady (and perfect) heartbeat. The only issue my doctor had was how much weight I have gained...I guess I need to back off the ice cream and other sugary treats a bit.

I can't believe in 3 more months she'll be here!!! Time sure does fly!

Cute picture from Easter

I just wanted to share this adorable picture of Chloe and Uncle Will on Easter. Too cute!

Outing to Grandma's

Yesterday my sister, mom, nephews, and niece went to Oakland to visit my Grandma Agee. We had a wonderful visit and an amazing lunch at Fenton's Ice Cream Parlor. Fenton's is an old family favorite, with enormous and delicious ice cream creations. Unfortunately the weather was rainy so we were not able to ride the train at Tilden Park, but we still had a wonderful time.

Grandma Agee enjoyed a junior size "black and tan" sundae while Andrew (age 5) tried to polish down his root beer float.
Chloe (age 2) loved the cookies that came with her strawberry ice cream the best!

Josh (age 9) had no problem finishing his root beer float.

Chloe was very kind to carry around my purse all day long for me.

Baby's crib

The baby's crib arrived in the mail last week (JC Penny's shipped it to us in 4 days!) and yesterday was the special day we got to put it together. We are VERY pleased with the final product!

Will did an awesome job assembling the crib. It took him no time at all to read through the poorly translated instructions.

Isn't the final crib beautiful? Will and I love the bedding my mom graciously gifted us from Pottery Barn. It is perfectly girly and will go great with the Classic Winnie the Pooh theme I am doing in the room.

We now have a comfortable home for Valentine (the baby's stuffed monkey). There are only two things left to complete this crib...a baby and a crib mattress!
