Six Flags Time!

Another year of Six Flags Amusement Park has begun!  We bought season passes (again) and we hope to go several times throughout the year.  Both Kate and Maggie have a blast riding the rides and seeing all the animals.
Kate and Will got the tea cup going incredibly fast and Kate LOVED it!

We went into the butterfly house and it was super cool!  There were so many butterflies flying around, eating from flowers and hanging out.

Water fun!

It is starting to feel like summer around here and we have been greatly enjoying cooling off in the water!  The water table and hot tub are in constant use!

 Such a pretty face! ;-)

Fairytale Town

There are some huge advantages with having a daddy that works some weekends....you get to do really fun stuff during his weekdays off such as Fairytale Town!  The first hour in the park was very quiet and empty.  Eventually school classes came and made it a little crowded but we still had a wonderful time!
Kate did not like the sheep since they were "too loud!"  Maggie was very entertained by it!

 Crooked Mile

 Dorthy and Scarecrow

 Cinderella's Pumpkin Carriage
 Huge foot
 Train Ride
 More Cinderella Carriage

 Rabbit Hole
 Mother Goose
Maggie LOVED looking at the baby chicks!
 Hippo water fountain
 Fun climbing at the playground

 Pirate ship driving
Kate LOVED sliding down the big shoe over and over again
The ducks loved Maggie but she was a little unsure

Time to splash!

The girls got to splash around in Gramma and Papa's little pool the other day.  They loved every minute of it except Kate kept getting frustrated at Maggie for splashing her.

 Lollipops with Gramma!  Yummy!

Springtime Fun!

We love bubbles!!!  We bought a bubble fan and the girls love chasing them all over the yard.  The machine consumes a ridiculous amount of bubble solution but it is worth the hours of fun!

Recently we purchased Kate her very own "big girl" bike.  She got to pick it out herself so of course she chose pink!  Maggie was thrilled since it meant that she got to ride Kate's old tricycle.  We now go on bike rides every day!
Today I took the girls to the Jelly Belly Factory.  We had a wonderful time going through the tour, eating tons of jelly beans and riding the Jelly Belly car.

After the Jelly Belly Factory we drove to Nut Tree in Vacaville.  We were very pleasantly surprised that the little train and carousel were open.  It was a very fun and exhausting day!

Will filled up our hot tub the other day and we are using it as a swimming pool for the girls.  We have the temperature set to 93 degrees so it isn't too hot or too cold...just perfect!  Kate is LOVING her water time!
