Maggie's gymnastics and VW driving

Maggie LOVES going to her gymnastics twice a week while Kate is in preschool.  She spends her time climbing, jumping, ribbon twirling, sliding and playing in the ball pit.  It is 30 minutes of total enjoyment!

We arrived a little early to gymnastics this morning so Maggie played with the little toy corner before it was class time.

 Maggie loves to twirl the ribbons at gymnastics...it makes her feel like Dora the Explorer from her gymnastics movie.  :-)

Kate has become very fond of Will's 1952 VW in our garage.  She has spent the last several days sitting in it and driving it.  Will is super excited to see Kate's enthusiasm for his VW!

September Happenings

The girls are keeping busy and having a ton of fun this month!  Kate has been enjoying her first soccer experience.  She has soccer once a week in which the kids work on soccer drills and scrimmage at the end of every practice.  Kate is not afraid to go for the ball and fight for it.  

Maggie is coming into her own and has decided that I can no longer have a say in what clothes she wears or puts in her hair.  She loves to wear dresses or princess costumes everywhere she goes.  Her new favorite activity is to arrange the sofa cushions in huge piles to create homes for herself and stuffed animals.

Maggie wore her princess outfit to Kate's soccer practice the other night...and of course she brought along her favorite "Pinkie Fish"!

Apple Hill Fun

The girls and I headed to Apple Hill this weekend while Will was out of town.  We usually only head to one location, High Hill Ranch.  We get there early and leave before the crowds get too crazy.  The highlight of High Hill are pony rides...the girls rode 3 times!  Maggie was throwing a screaming fit to ride more times, but thankfully it was time to leave for lunch.  We also enjoyed face painting, apple cider, the fudge shop and little park.  It was a beautiful day and a fun girls date!
