Fun at Dedushka's and Grammalene

We just got back from a wonderful trip to Fresno to visit Dedushka and Grammalene.  We spent our time swimming in their hot tub, playing with Coco the dog, and visiting the Fresno zoo.  We greatly enjoyed our time with Dedushka and Grammalene!

Since the weather was in the mid-70's we decided to stay out of the freezing pool and utilize the warm hot tub instead.

 Snack-time after a long swim!
 Tinkertoys!
Coco was the star of our visit.  Both girls loved petting and playing with Coco.

 Fresno Zoo

We saw and awesome bird show while at the zoo.  Birds flew over our heads and sang us songs.  The highlight was meeting the birds after the show, including a large hawk and owl.

One of Kate's favorite things at the zoo was this bridge...go figure.

Thanks for a great visit Dedushka and Grammalene!

Ball and Birthday

We just bought an enormous inflatable ball from Costco for the girls to roll around.  They actually climb inside and use it like a hamster ball.  It is tons of fun!

Though Kate's birthday is not until July, we got to celebrate in her preschool class this morning.  Kate got to wear a special birthday crown and the kids sang her happy birthday.  I brought in cupcakes to share with all of her classmates.  It was a fun morning!

Woodland Splash Park

This afternoon we went to the Woodland Splash Park for a little water fun.  It is a great place to kids to cool off and splash around!

Diaper Daredevils

Twice a week Maggie participates in a gymnastics class called "Diaper Daredevils" through the City of Davis.  We have been in this class since September and it is a great opportunity for Maggie to climb, slide, hang, jump, stretch, run and be silly in a danger-free environment.  We love it!

The ball pit is one of Maggie's favorite spots.

 Hang-time.

 Action shot!

 Stretch real high!
 "Choo-choo"

More Six Flags

We took another trip to Six Flags...this time we went with Gramma!  The highlight was meeting Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny.  The girls actually stood in line 3 times to meet them and each time they gave the characters big hugs and high-fives.

We also went to the elephant show.  At the end of the show, the elephant walked right by us and we were able to pet the elephant's trunk and legs.  Super cool!
The girl's favorite ride was this hoppy frog ride.  It was actually quite fun to bounce along while flying in circles.
