Disneyland Birthday Trip: Day 3

Day 3 of our Disneyland trip was Maggie's 4th birthday!  We woke up early and opened presents!  We gave Maggie a whole bunch of Rapunzel items such as a backpack, crown, wand and shoes.

We even had Rapunzel birthday donuts for breakfast.

Our two Rapunzel's were ready for a princess-filled day.

First stop of our morning was to meet Cinderella

 Snow White

Sleeping Beauty's castles was all decorated with sparkly diamonds for their 60th anniversary.

For Maggie's birthday she and Kate were treated to a lavish experience at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Fantasyland.  The girls got to pick out fancy princess hairstyles, get their nails painted and make-up done.  It was truly a magical experience!  The girls were super thrilled and excited.

 Blush

 ...even eye-shadow
Magic pixie dust to make their hair sparkle.
 Beautiful Princess Maggie!!!
The girls get to see their reflection at the end in a magical mirror that twinkles.

Gorgeous Pop-Princess Kate!

The girls received so much extra attention with their beautiful make-overs and Maggie's birthday pin.  We often heard "Happy Birthday, Princess!"  The girls felt so special!

All the make-up, nail polish, brushes and hair accessories were given to us at the end of our boutique experience to bring home in a special pink backpack.

The biggest highlight of the day (other than the boutique) was meeting Rapunzel!  HOORAY!!!  Maggie has been talking endlessly about meeting Rapunzel and it was my mission to make sure she met Rapunzel on her birthday.

We were lucky enough to be the last to see Rapunzel in the morning so the girls got a special treat at the end of their visit and Rapunzel asked the girls to walk her back to her home (exit door).  It was about a 3 minute walk to their destination and she talked to the girls the whole time while holding their hands.  It was SO AMAZING to watch!

Kate and I got to sit front row on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.  Kate was so excited to be first!
Two-thumbs for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad...Kate's all time favorite ride that she can go on again and again and again!!!

We took a break at the hotel on our last day to grab dinner, eat some birthday cupcakes and regain energy for a late night.

We headed back to the park after dinner for the nighttime light parade and fireworks.  I staked out a seat on Main Street 2 hours before the parade started to get good seats.  Will took the girls on a few more rides so they didn't have to be tortured waiting.  The parade was so amazing!  Wow!  I will try to post a few videos from the parade in the next few days.

After the parade and fireworks we came back to the hotel and took out our special hair-dos.  The girls hair barely budge once all the bobbi pins and hair-ties were out due to all the hair gel and hairspray.

Time for bed after a whirlind of a trip.

Maggie's birthday was exactly what we were hoping for...memorable, fun and filled with lots of special moments.  Can't wait to return to the Happiest Place on Earth!
