Happy 3.75 Birthday to Maggie!

Since Maggie's birthday is in the summer, she got to celebrate her 3.75 birthday at school on Thursday.  She picked out special mini-cupcakes to serve her classmates and she wore a pink birthday crown during class.  She felt very special and was super excited all day!

Baby Shower for Jess

On Saturday we hosted a baby shower for my sister-in-law, Jess.  She is due with her fist child, a baby girl, at the end of May.  It was such an honor to celebrate her and my new niece.  We had 19 women/girls in our house.  Thank you to all who came and celebrated!

My mom came up with some tricky games to play...matching mother and baby animal names and finishing classical nursery rhymes.

Easter 2015

 We had a wonderful Easter celebration this past Sunday.  We started the morning off with a special french toast breakfast and indoor egg hunt.  In the late-morning we went to church and heard an amazing message from our pastor about the glory of God's kingdom.  In the evening we headed to Gramma and Papa's house for another egg hunt and Easter dinner.  It was a beautiful and good day.

 Cousin Andrew hid Maggie's eggs this year and he did a very good job.

Week 2: Pool Progress

The pool is dug out and the pipes are being laid.  It is amazing to see how much progress has been made in just 9 days of work!

We will have a jumping wall/waterfall in the back corner of our pool....personally designed by me. :-)

It is amazing to see how many pipes are wrapped around the entire pool deck and directed towards the pump/pool equipment.
