We just got back from a wonderful and amazing trip to Maui. We stayed on Kaanapali Beach in a wonderful hotel for 6 nights. We had the joy of celebrating my 30th birthday and Maggie's first birthday in Maui. The girls loved their time in Hawaii, especially the hotel pool and grounds. We took hundreds of pictures so I will upload a small portion of the pictures in a few different posts. This first post highlights our hotel and some of the activities surrounding our hotel.

Maggie LOVED exploring the hotel grounds. Both girls especially loved chasing all of the little birds.
We spent hours in our hotel pool! It was shaped like a whale and the entire back half of the whale was perfect for the girls since it was only 2 ft. deep.
Our hotel had an enormous checkers board on the grounds. The girls loved playing "checkers" and moving the coconut pieces all around.
The girls loved washing the sand off at the beach shower!

Our hotel had hula dancers and live Hawaiian music every night. Kate LOVED watching and dancing with the hula dancers. She can really move her hips!
