Kate's First Tap Recital

This past weekend was Kate's first tap recital.  She performed 3 times to The Teddy Bear Picnic.  Her class did a great job and they were all so cute!  Kate loved the stage and sang the song during most of her performances.  Kate was a natural in the spotlight!

Great-Grandma & Great-Grandpa Elliott, Gramma & Papa, Auntie Sarah and Cousin Chloe came to see Kate for her first performance on Friday.  Dedushka, Grammalene, Uncle Peter, Auntie Megan, Aunt Carol and Will all came to see her Saturday afternoon.  It was so special to have everyone come and see her!

In the dance, the only boy in the class puts a bear mask on to scare the girls.  This was a picture we took of the kids with their very special tap teacher, Cheryl.  She is so fantastic with the kids!

This video is from Kate's dress rehearsal.  As you will see, all the kids come out wearing bear masks.  This totally confuses them and messes them up so the teacher decided to eliminate the masks for the real performance.  Their real performance was much better than this video, but at least it gives you an idea of how cute they were.
