Maggie's Half-Birthday Celebration

February 23rd marked Maggie's half birthday so we celebrated in school since her real birthday is in the summer.  Maggie was super excited for this special day since it meant birthday cupcakes, a class gift and Mommy helping in the class all day.

Maggie's name was listed on the "UCNS Celebrates" banner at the entrance of school.

Maggie loved showing me all the cool things she does during her outdoor playtime, including this balance board.

I made Maggie a special chalk cupcake drawing while we were playing outside.

Maggie got to wear a special crown for the day.  Ms. Lois and Ms. Margie also gifted Maggie with this adorable angel bear.  Maggie named her new bear "Fly-ee".

One of Maggie's favorite songs is called "Slippery Fish" and so in honor of this song, I made "slippery fish" cupcakes for her class.

Yummy cupcakes!

At the very end of her school day, Maggie got to present her sharing can.  Ms. Lois helped her read off the clues and then her classmates guessed what was inside.

Maggie had placed a little bear (from her Bouncy Bear class, last year) inside the sharing can.

Such a special day for such a special, amazing Maggie! 6 months from now she will be 5 years old and starting kindergarten!  Crazy!
