Gingerbread House

Yesterday we made our first ever family gingerbread (graham cracker) house. Will had the brilliant idea of building the structure of the house with empty milk cartons. Kate sat very patiently while Will built the base of the house.
Kate was showing Mommy the base of the house before it was covered with graham crackers, frosting and candy.

Kate helping Daddy lay out the graham crackers
Time to frost and decorate Kate did a great job placing candy all around the house.

Kate also did a great job stuffing her face full of peanut butter M&M's.

The finished house! We had so much fun making this gingerbread house that I think we will make it a yearly tradition.

YUMMY! That looks good enough to eat! ;-) I remember making gingerbread houses out of milk cartons in preschool! That idea is an oldie but a goodie. ;-)

And I like the touch of the VW in front of the gingerbread house...
