Petting Zoo Fun

You know it is October when Impossible Acres pumpkin patch and petting zoo open up.  We stopped by today, bought a season pass and spent the afternoon holding and petting all the baby animals.  The girls were in heaven!

The kittens are always the girls' favorite.  Unfortunately the kitten we were holding was a bit restless today and refused to curl up in a lap so we moved on to more calm animals.

Kate loved holding the sleeping baby chick.

Maggie wasn't so sure about holding the chick since she felt like it's feet were too poky.

Kate spent a lot of time with the miniature horse, petting it and brushing it's coat.

My favorite is always the baby goats.

The baby bunnies were so soft and calm.

Kate braved the chicken coop but Maggie was too scared to go in.

We will be back many more times this month!  We love our trips to Impossible Acres and we are so grateful the farm is only 10 minutes from home.
