Day 2 (and my birthday) of our Disneyland trip kicked off in California Adventure.
While Kate and Will braved Tower of Terror (which Kate hated) Maggie and I went to A Bugs Land to ride some bumper bugs.
One huge highlight of California Adventure was that the girls got to meet Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. To meet these characters you have to acquire a FastPass. We got 3 FastPasses and met them 3 times! One of the best parts about meeting Anna and Elsa is that Anna is really energetic and goofy and so the conversations with the girls was always really fun and playful. Kate and Maggie loved it!
We also got to give Olaf warm hugs.

At the end of the day we sat back to enjoy the Pixar Parade. Maggie picked out an Rapunzel light spinner and was excited to use it during the parade.
The pre-parade included a float from the new movie Inside/Out
While waiting for the rest of the floats the girls were called into the middle of the street to learn some dance moves.
Let the parade begin!
Day 2 was a great birthday! As a family we all enjoyed Soaring over California (twice) and Kate rode her favorite ride, Goofy's Flight School, numerous times. Maggie got to swing high over the pier and ride on the Little Mermaid. Tons of fun!
