Trip to Fresno

We just got back from 2 nights in Fresno to visit Dedushka and Grammalene.  The weather was hot (100 degrees) but the company and family time was priceless!

Kate was so excited to walk Coco and Susie, Dedushka and Grammalene's dogs.

Despite the very warm weather we braved the zoo and saw some pretty awesome animals!

Maggie and Kate were very excited to see the stingrays.  Maggie was determined to touch one and was finally able to with the help of Will feeding shrimp to the stingrays.

Maggie loved brushing the baby goats.

 One of the coolest part of the zoo is the rain forest area in which birds, monkeys and iguanas are freely roaming all around you.

 The girls spent a lot of time with Coco and Susie. At times we had to give the dogs a break from the girls since they seemed to feel a bit overwhelmed by all the attention.

Dedushka took Kate to a nearby tennis court in his golf cart.

Maggie stayed home to pet Coco.

After the hot day at the zoo we cooled off in the pool

After the pool we played with Tinker Toys and played games.

Sunday morning breakfast was prepared by Kate, Dedushka and Will...yummy pancakes!  Kate is so proud that she can now crack eggs!

We headed to the tennis courts for one more lesson before driving home.

Even Maggie gave it a try!

 All done with tennis.

 Time to drive home.

Great trip!  Wonderful family!  Lovely time!
